Exhaust gas temperature sensor (EGTS)

Brief description

Reducing the pollutant emissions, while meeting the CO² regulations and standards has become a global challenge. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors (EGTS) play a fundamental role to protect components exposed to hot exhaust gas from overheating and to help optimizing the engine combustion process to reduce pollutant emissions.

The sensor solution of PEX and TESONA incorporates a thermos-couple element enabling broad temperature measurement from minus 40°C up to 1.150°C, while providing a most accurate signal output across this wide temperature range.
